BIO:

Originally from Monterrey MX. Miss Lupita grew up in a very large family of 14 siblings, including herself, is 15. "We grew up like most other Mexican families. That is, except for the music. My father is a musician. I also have a brother who is a musician in Mexico. I have been singing & performing for as long as I can remember. Mainly for the family or at weddings. When I was 17, I decided to go to Texas. My thing has always been dance music. I began performing at any club that would let me in. I found that one of the biggest obsticles in the music industry is something women face everyday but I think Latina women face even more. We are not taken seriously. They underestimate latina women. As an independent artist, I have shocked many industry insiders by getting as far as I have. They feel the power of my music and they cant deny me. I leave them no choice. If they deny me, the guy next door will play my track and take the crowd. After "Mi Ritmo Latino" I dropped "Soy Mexicana". Soon, I will come out with another hit and then my album. I have track after track, written, produced and recorded and its just the beginning. As an artist, you can never stop searching. Im always looking for producers with the newest and freshest sound. Thats really what the dance community is all about. The music has to be quality, the sound has to be fresh and most of all, it has to be original. Like your signature. Really, Im like most latina women, you cant deny us porque somos irresistibles. My music is 100% latin flavor, mixed with some of the best produced latin dance tracks. I met producers like DJ Cubanito of Cuba & David Flores from Spain who both create very original sounds. It took a long time to find the right people and to create that latin dance sound I was looking for. Its like a match made in heaven. I have charted in several billboard reporting record pools and Im hitting the club scene hard (duro). The single we are working on right now is "Soy Mexicana" which I initially dropped two weeks ago at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. There isnt really alot of Latinos in the dance music scene here in Texas. One of the people that I admire the most is South Park Mexican. I remember way back in the beginning when there wasnt any Mexicans in the rap scene here in Texas, but he never let that stop him. Its alot like that in the dance scene. Its a new and upcoming sound. Miami, New York, Cal. are pretty hip but Mexico/Texas have our own flavor to add to the mix. As far as my sound, its original. Its Latin Dance Music. Its high energy. Anyone who likes to move, will love my music. Houston is a music mecca. There are alot of different sounds coming out of this state. Im just doing what I love to do. I dont care if Im performing for an audience of 5, or 5,000. I do it for the love of the music and for the people."
